It seems that MARIAH CAREY is not a very touchy feely person. The pop diva banned fans from hugging her at the New York launch of her new perfume, M. The 38-year-old’s most devoted supporters paid $300 for “VIP access” which allowed them to pose for a personal photograph with Mariah – as long as they didn’t get too close, at the fragrance launch in Macy’s department store. One source said: “Mimi wouldn’t let her male admirers put their arms around her waist during picture time – and absolutely no hugs. One young guy tried to get to close and was quickly shown to the exit.

Jennifer and Marc's expensive nursery

JENNIFER LOPEZ and MARC ANTHONY have commissioned a $50,000 nursery, seemingly confirming they are expecting a baby. The E1 Cantante stars - who have refused to comment on the rumoured pregnancy – recently visited exclusive Los Angeles baby boutique Petit Tresor, and made arrangements for a $50,000 nursery. A source at the store revealed: “Petit Tresor will be designing a nursery rhyme themed baby nursery for Jennifer and Marc. There will also be custom-painted murals on the walls.” The parents-to-be spent a leisurely two hours browsing baby goods. They eventually chose a selection of prams, Moses baskets, blankets, baby clothes and toys. Look like they won’t be able to keep their happy news a secret much longer!

Jude is upset that Sienna's dating his buddy

JUDE LAW is devastated ex-fiance SIENNA MILLER is dating his friend RHYS IFANS, according to reports in UK. The Hollywood heartthrob - who split from the stunning actress last year following his affair with his children's nanny - was hoping to rekindle his romance with Sienna but has recently realised she has moved on. Jude is said to be dreading seeing Sienna and Rhys on the London party scene and is doing his best to keep a low profile. A source said: "Jude is still pining for Sienna and now that she is besotted with one of his best friends, it has really hit home. Jude has told pals he doesn't want to go out in London because bumping in to them would be too awkward."

Paris Dumps her Swedish hunk

PARIS HILTON has dumped hunky Swedish toyboy ALEX VAGGO, because he's "too shy". The hotel heiress gave him the boot just days after smitten Alex gushed how he was falling for her. A source revealed: "She loved his good looks, but she gets bored very quickly, and he was just too shy and quiet for her. She likes bad boys." After being seen partying with KID ROCK in Toronto, Canada, Paris said "I'm single. I'm way too busy for a boyfriend." That's not all she's occupied with. The super-rich heiress is also investing a fortune in the world's biggest suspended animation cemetery so she - along with her beloved pets - can live for ever by having scientists freeze her body when she dies. "It's so cool," she said. "Almost all the cells in the body are still alive when death is pronounced. And if you're immediately cooled, you can be perfectly preserved. Ashley Olsen Likes Older Men

One half of the Olsens has been seen getting cosy with, believe it or not, Lance Armstrong!

There's new coupling in town, and you won't believe this one, it's LANCE ARMSTRONG and ASHLEY OLSEN!

According to baffled reports, the Tour de France superchamp-turned-marathon runner and the pint-sized actress have been meeting up in New York, where Lance is currently holed up preparing for the New York Marathon. The first sighting took place at the Rose Bar inside the Gramercy Park Hotel, where a source claimed: "They came together with a group of friends. Ashley drank red wine, sat on his lap and they were making out all night. They left together around 2 am."

An eyewitness revealed: "Lance was hanging with her, definately. She was flirtatious, and was sitting on his lap."

Ashley, according to a source, was "hanging out, having a good time." "Ashley and Lance settled in and within minutes he was whispering in her ear and she was giggling like a school girl," added another onlooker. "They totally looked like they were on the date."

Sighting number two took place two days later, at hip eatery the Waverly Inn. After being spotted going in there earlier with actor pal OWEN WILSON, Lance, 36, soon moved on to enjoying the company of the fairer (and smaller) sex - Ashley, 21.

The retired cyclist, who previously dated singer SHERYL CROW, recently broke up with fashion designer TORY BURCH after a year-long romance. "He tried to make Troy happy when they were dating buying a place here," dished an insider of the split. "But she couldn't deal with him not actually living in the same city, so they broke up." Well, he's certainly moven on fine.

Reese with Jake or James?

Amidst her lovey-dovey going-on with Jake, Reese is also rumoured to have fallen for British singer JAMES BLUNT! The actress apparently hit it off with the "You're Beautiful" singer when they met after his show at Los Angeles' El Rey Theatre. A source revealed: "Reese arrived with three female friends and headed straight for the bar. They sat at a private VIP table and drank white wine. She looked relaxed and happy, and then James finished his set and walked into the bar, Reese practically ran to him."

Added the insider: "Reese was laughing and smiling. They seemed to have great chemistry." Hmm...

Even as REESE WITHERSPOON stays mum on reports that she is seeing her Rendition co-star JAKE GYLLENHAAL, photographs of the new lovebirds holding hands and hugging while they visited tourist sites in Rome together are speaking louder than a thousand words.

Mere days after denying she was romancing the Broke back Mountain star, Reese, 31, has been seen getting all lovey-dovey with Jake, far away from prying eyes of the Los Angeles paparazzi. "I' have known Jake for years through different friends and he is just wonderful," Reese had insisted previously, adding that her relationship with the handsome actor is purely platonic (yeah right!). He's very kind, generous and funny. It's been nice these past days to laugh a little bit. Yeah, he's great and I look forward to maybe making another film with him."

The couple reportedly started seeing each other earlier this year after meeting on the set of their movie, and except for a brief split in between, certainly seem to be fanning the flames of their new romance. But she still won't talk! In fact, the closest Reese has come to revealing her feeling about Jake, 26, took place during an interview with ELLEN DEGENERES, when she agreed with Ellen's assessment that Jake was "cute". "Yeah. He's great," she replied with a laugh.

Carrie's ex Tony Romo has moved on too!

While Carrie has been making headlines for her dates with Chace, Tony hasn't exactly been sitting on his haunches, either. The hunky American football star has been keeping busy with One Tree Hill beauty SOPHIA BUSH, and they certainly seem to be getting along fine. In fact, Sophia was even in Dallas with the Dallas Cowboys quarterback recently where they hung out with Tony's teammates at the N9NE restaurant.

"Tony and Sophia arrived at the restaurant together, just the two of them, in the same car," revealed an eyewitness. "They had drinks in the lounge and awaited the rest of their party to arrive. When they were leaving and chatting with friends and some staff at the bar, Tony was hugging Sophia from behind, and she put her arms around him as well."

The next day, the couple made another joint appearance, this time at a house party hosted by Tony's teammate, TERRENCE NEWMAN, where they found time to do more than just cuddle - the duo good-naturedly gave console game Guitar Hero III a shot! "She was laughing at him when he screwed up a little bit in the beginning," said a source. "They had a good time. They seem cute together." Wow!
