REAL pf F.I.R Proposed
Concert-goers of Taiwanese rock band F.I.R’s recent concert in Taiwan got a whole lot more than they ever dreamed of, when guitarist REAL proposed to lead vocalist FAYE! Real whipped out a massive diamond ring and got down on one knee in front of 10,000 fans. Needless to say, Faye was surprised as she had been kept in the dark (oh, and she said yes). Congrats!David Tao : No Glow Stick Please
DAVID TAO has set himself apart from all the pop star in the world – by asking his fans not to clap or wave glow sticks and light sticks during his gigs! While most singers actually like the audience to participation, this crooner reportedly said: “I don’t like it when [the audience] claps or waves glow sticks and light sticks during my concert, especially when I sing unplugged. The clapping disturbs me and my vocals and guitars can’t compete with 20,000 hands clapping. I also don’t know why fans like to throw glow sticks onto the stage at the end of the concert; they almost hit my face sometimes. Please stop it!” Err…..okay.Show Luo Is The New King of the Stage
Singer SHOW LUO, often branded as the male version of JOLIN TSAI’, has followed the example of Jolin (Who by the way is rumored to be his girlfriend), incorporating pole dancing into his shows. And while Jolin has styled herself as a “princess,” Show is going one up on the hierarchy, calling himself the “king,” according to a new book titled Show on Stage. For his upcoming concert and new album, Show has also been putting in the hard work even going to New York to meet world-re owned choreographer Laurie Ann Gibson. Despite his broken English and the language barrier, Show still managed to communicate with his dance teacher, using – according to reports – simply body language. Wonder what that really means?S.H.E. Bullies BOYS

At the recent Singapore’s Golden Bell Award celebration, both TANK and FAHRENHEIT revealed their unhappiness over being bullied by their seniors, S.H.E. Tank had gone on stage to help claim S.H.E.’s six awards as they were absent. When asked what the girls will do to thank him, Tank said : “Nothing at all. They think that this is something that should be done. As their junior, I’m very fortunate but it’s also very tough. Recently, I was a guest artiste at their concerts in China and I was “bullied” as though I was their “pet.” Fahrenheit chipped in: “We can last longer than TANK when it comes to being hit. Ella’s in charge of “bullying” everyone and Selina and Hebe will act as Ella’s behind-the-scenes generals. They love doing things to our heads.” Ouch!
Jolin Tsai Teams Up With Kylie Minogue

It’s the collaboration of the year! An East meets West partnership, and a much unexpected twosome. According to reports, Taiwan pop diva JOLIN TSAI and English pop princess KYLIE MINOGUE have teamed up to record a duet. An Asian version of the song “In My Arms”. The track will appear in the Asian edition of Kylie’s new album, titled X, currently scheduled for a 26 November 2007 release. So did the two songbirds hit it off? Well, it wasn’t exactly the battle of the divas in the recording studios. Kylie and Jolin actually recorded the song separately, with Jolin saying she “imagined” Kylie was next to her as she did her part. That’s not to say the two wouldn’t have gotten along. After all, they do share an awful lot in common: both are prop princesses who started their career at a very young age, both became divas through the popularity of their dance music, both are pint sized, very sexy and have their own dolls (the Agent J dolls and the Kylie dolls). And both are Monkeys according to the Chinese zodiac!
Jolin did get to meet her “goddess: when Kylie actually invited her to the screening of White Diamond in London. Jolin was said to be so excited she insisted on making an appearance, even though the promotional schedule for her album was really tight and she was exhausted. When the two song tresses met, Jolin presented Kylie with a jade bracelet as a present, while Kylie gave Jolin an exclusive ticket of the preview screening and a warm hug. A huge Kylie fan, Jolin has even performed Kylie’s song “Can’t Get You Out of My Head” at the Gold Song Awards in Taiwan, which we’re sure Kylie was flattered to find out about. Jolin also reportedly watches Kylie’s concert DVDs so she can learn from the Aussie superstar’s sexy and glamorous stage performances. We can’t hear to hear the duet!

Dylan Kuo the model actor

"One day, when I was modelling in Hong Kong, I thought, why shouldn't I give acting a try since I'm already involved in the entertainment line. I'm lucky that I had opportunities to work on television serials in Taiwan soon after."
.
The 30-year-old became famous for starring in Dou Yu (The Outsiders), and later featured in the series Ma La Gao Xiao Sheng, he made a guest appearance in The Rose, and has also recorded in album.
.
More recently, he has been busy promoting his second album in China and also revealed that he will soon start filming on a drama series. So how does he keep himself so fit and trim with such a hectic schedule?
.
"I try to maintain a strict fitness schedule. I work out at least three to four days a week and try to do it for at least three hours," said Dylan. "Also, I watch my diet. I try to eat more fruits and avoid artificial flavours including biscuits!"
Yumiko Marches On...

Hong kong artiste YUMIKO CHENG may be better known for her multiple wardrobe malfunctions than for her creative contributions - she has actually released four albums and starred in several films - but the 26-year-old Shanghai-born lass is marching on with her head held high.
For the uninitiated, Yumiko made headlines in December last year when her trouser were accidentally pulled off while she was performing a stunt for a charity show. In June this year, she flashed her nipples without realising it, when her tube-top came loose during a performance in Canada's Wonderland.
Undeterred, the singer's star continues to shine brightly, and she was in town recently with Taiwanese pop idol DYLAN KUO to announce their appointment as spokespersons for fashion brand Soda. HOT was there of course.
How do you feel about being chosen as spokesperson?
I'm very happy. When they contracted me, I looked through their products in the brochure and immediately liked the clothes.
Did you know Dylan prior to this?
Not personally, I've read about him in the Hong Kong newspapers. He's taller than I expected him to be. And of course I think he's also very good-looking.
Did you have other ambitions before becoming an entertainer?
I though of becoming a teacher when I was younger, and also a policewoman. But when I began learning how to sing, I found myself liking it. And then the opportunity came up for me to go into showbiz.
You're singer, actress and model. What are you most happy doing?
I've been in this line for the last few years, and I've realised that I'm lucky to be doing what I like. I enjoy all types of work I'm doing.
What's your secret to looking so good?
I don't think it's a secret. I try to rest well and sleep more. I also try to go to the gym everyday for an hour if I can. As we age, it's important to take care of ourselves. But more importantly, I feel we should keep a joyful heart to look pretty.
So are you an optimistic person?
Yes. I think so.
How did you manage to overcome all the unfortunate accidents you've had?
I don't think this is a suitable time to talk about that (slightly embarrassed smile). But again, I feel it boiled down to one's philosophy of life. If you're an optimistic person, you will overcome it. So I'm okay. Don't worry about me!

Joey Avoids Denise?

Friends or foes? Popular singer JOEY YUNG was recently busy rehearsing for China's National Day Parade where she's slated to perform. As she wrapped things up, she was hurried away rather quickly by her entourage, raising eyebrow. But sources were quick to explain that Joey was avoiding a meeting with ANITA MUI's disciple DENISE HO, who is also known as HOCC. When confronted about it however, Joey denied the story and laughed it off. "I only need to avoid ghosts during Halloween," she was quoted as saying, further adding that she was rushed away because she had to "get to a recording session." Hmmm really?

The couple was spotted in Bangkok, Thailand last month, where they were rumoured to be on honeymoon, but neither would confirm the reports. Recently, however, Tony was in Shaghai to shoot an advertisement, and reportedly chatted with the production crew while resting between takes. David Tao, No Pre-Nup, No Wedding
Talented singer/producer DAVID TAO has admitted that he will ask his future partner to sign a prenuptial agreement before he will tie the knot. You, see, he owns a lot of valuable property and he wants to protect it at all cost. The star has invested his income in real estate, and with all the houses he bought these past years, he's accumulated quite a tidy sum. David said: "My parents don't know how to manage the money so I bought a few houses in U.S and Taiwan. I want to save all the property and wealth I've earned through my hard work for my parents or my future son. I know it sounds merciless but I'd prefer to sign a pre-nup before I sign the wedding contract."Andy Lau's Album Cover Plagiarised

Is ANDY LAU running out of ideas? There are reports that the cover of the Heavenly King's recent Mandarin album, A Miracle World, is almost an exact replica of German photographer LORETTA LUX's picture, "The Red Ball" No.1. On the cover, Andy has both hands in the air while two marble balls dangle in mid air. Lorreta's work had a child model in the same pose. Hmmm......
Edison romance up
EDISON CHEN has never been one to hide his love affairs. Since his romance with VINCY YONG struck up, he hasn't stopped talking about her. So when he was in Taiwan recently to promote his album, a host named DEE HSU, asked him why he was so open about his relationship. Edison answered: "Because I love her very much!" Dee Hsu replied: "You can't say that, it will lead to the breakup of your relationship. I bet you 10,000NT that you will break up with Vincy Yong before the end of next year!" Gasp! But to everyone surprise, Edison didn't get angry, instead saying: " We've been together for three and a half years; we will not break up!" Touch wood, Edison!Kim Jae Won misses out on a kiss

Kim Jae Won was left dissapointed after an unexpected flu cost him a chance to kiss popstar hottie JOLIN TSAI. The Korean artist was supposed to have worked with Jolin in her new music video, and a kissing scene had already been planned, but when he arrived in Paris for the shoot, Kim fell ill with a bad cough. The director had no choice but to cancel the scene. We don't really know who was more dissapointed though, Kim or Jolin. After all, Kim was voted the guy with the best kissing technique by his Korean female counterparts! Better luck next time superstar!

Sharon Chan's flashy moment

Looks like the “Yumiko wardrobe malfunction curse” is here to stay. Another star to flash her bits was SHARON CHAN MAN CHI. The actress recently strutted the catwalk in an itsy bitsy two-piece bikini and the audience went into frenzy when her public line was accidentally exposed! She later said: “Perhaps a shadow caused the misconception.” Yeah, right.
Landy's steamy kiss with Joseph
LANDY WEN got a lot more fun than she bargained for during the filming of her latest video, “Fool.” Not only was hunky actor JOSEPH ZHANG cast as her boyfriend for the clip, the director wanted them to share a very intimate kiss. When the director yelled “action,” the two went at it so enthusiastically that Landy admitted: “I felt like I really fell in love with him at that moment.”Ring Ring, Jacko Speaking
JACKIE CHAN is upset after he missed a phone call from the King of Pop, MICHAEL JACKSON. Jackie said:” He called me once, but I was sleeping. My assistant then answered the phone. Later in the afternoon, my assistant tells me, “Michael Jackson, he phoned.” I said, “Why didn’t you call me?!” “The action hero has never spoken to Michael, a good friend of his Rush Hour 3 co-star CHRIS TUCKER, which explains why he was upset. But the question is, what does Jacko want to talk to him about? We think: 1. Exchanging kung-fu notes; 2. Comparing nose sizes (Something smells fishy here). Well, there’s always the option of calling Jacko back, Jackie. Kelly Lin in love
KELLY LIN AND KEN CHU GET SERIOUS WITH THEIR ROMANCELove Till Now star KELLY LIN has found love again, and this time it’s with none other than F4 pretty boy KEN CHU, The two first met while filming Far East Great International Trial and witnesses claimed the chemistry was instant, with both of them having eyes for only one another. They behaved themselves however, and did not begin a relationship until they were both back in Taiwan.
While Kelly is definitely an absolute beauty, she is also 31-years-old and three years Ken’s senior. For someone who always gone for younger girls or girls his age, this is the first time Ken has fallen for an older girl, and he certainly seems to have fallen hard. According to reports, he would often play around during filming to make her laugh.
Their meeting was no coincidence, either. Apparently, Ken knew Kelly would be playing the female lead in Far East Great International Trial before he even accepted the role, and it might have even prompted him to accept it. And once he set his eye on the girl, it was only a matter of time before the F4 heartthrob charmed his way into Kelly’s heart.
Besides heating up the phone lines in Taiwan, the two have also been quietly meeting up for dates. Only their friends are said to have been let in on the secret, but already, Ken’s friends are apprehensive about their buddy’s new love.
“Kelly has many suitors and she’s always traveling. She likes to keep a low profile, go to bed early and wake up early every morning, and is very fixed in her ways,” a source said. “Ken is an energetic person with lots of social contacts (and obligations.) The relationship will be a short-lived one.” Oh, dear. We hope Ken doesn’t hear of this.
The new lovebirds were recently snapped looking at a house together, wearing matching blue T-shirt. But while rumor has it that Ken would be buying the house under Kelly’s name, the actress- who previously dated DANIEL WU – has dismissed the allegations, saying she will be paying for the house with her own money. Besides, she added, she and Ken are just good friends, and she has many good friends.
Another report claimed the two had already eloped while in the US together, but Kelly’s management company has denied the rumor, pointing out that the actress is under contract not to get married within certain timeframe.
As for Ken, the singer has also denied the wedding allegations. He has no money at the moment, he said, and without money, he will not even consider marriage with Kelly. He has no house, no car and no ability to care for a woman? Where did all the money he made with F4 go? And notice that he didn’t deny the romance! We say: watch this space!
