AYUMI AND TOMOYA IN SURPIRISE SPLITThe seven-year romance between J-pop queen AYUMI HAMASAKI and actor/singer TOMOYA NAGASE is officially over. Ayumi announced on her website: “It’s sudden, but I’ve broken up with my lover.” She also further explained that she felt their relationship has become more of a brother and sister companionship, rather than one of lovers. The pair first met during the filming of Twins Teacher, and began dating in 2000. Last year, Tomoya moved in with Ayumi, sparking rumors of an impending wedding by the end of this year, but we suppose that’ll never happen now.
