The actor gets into trouble for fighting with a photogrpaher...Hunky actor JUDE LAW has done a HUGH GRANT, after he was arrested for fighting with a photographer (Hugh got into trouble earlier this year for throwing baked beans at the paparazzi). We’re starting to wonder, is it some kind of British habit to attack the paparazzi and be apprehended for it?
According to reports, Jude was outside his London home when he took a violent disliking to a photographer and allegedly tried to grab the photog’s camera. He was arrested and released on bail within the same day.
A Scotland Yard rep is quoted as saying: “A 34-year-old man from Maida Vale was arrested yesterday on suspicion of actual bodily harm after voluntarily attending at London police station.” And yes, Jude stays in the neighborhood of Maida Vale.
But never mind the police statement to the press, Jude’s rep has actually confirmed the incident! The rep reportedly said: “I can confirm that Jude Law voluntarily attended Marylebone Police Station yesterday following an alleged incident outside his house earlier in the day. Mr. Law provided the police with a statement regarding his denials of allegations by a paparazzi photographer against him and made his own allegations concerning the photographer. Jude has the utmost respect for the police and whilst this is an ongoing matter no further comment will be made.”
Although now a free man, the 34-yeard-old Alfie star will have to go back to the police station in October after investigation have been made. Oh dear, will gorgeous Jude be in a lot of trouble?
Well, the photographer in question certainly hopes so. A report quotes the alleged victim as saying: “I was at a bus stop near Jude’s house but I wasn’t taking pictures of him. My camera was still in the bag. He was by himself when he recognized me and started accusing me of being a pedophile and that all I wanted to do was take pictures of his children. I was shocked at his behavior.”
“The photographer added: “You would expect that sort of thing from a yub (a bully), not a Hollywood actor.”
Well, you can’t blame Jude – who has made no secret of the fact that he doesn’t like the paparazzi and wants to protect the privacy of his three children – for being extra-sensitive when it comes to his kids now, can you?
