John with His New Hottie, Minka Kelly

Minka Kelly is the latest notch on the musical genius’s bedpost.

Whoever says nerdy men don’t land hot women has obviously never met JOHN MAYER. Coming out from virtually nowhere, the muzo extraordinaire is fast becoming one of Hollywood’s biggest female-magnets, and the 29-years-old certainly putting his newfound popularity among the girls to good use.

After being linked to JESSICA SIMPSON AND CAMERON DIAZ, John’s latest conquest….oops, we mean, girlfriend, is reportedly 27-year-old MINKA KELLY, hottie of Friday Night Lights fame. According to reports, the couple was spotted while hanging out in Austin Texas, last month, where they looked perfectly cozy.

“They were drinking mimosas and gazing into each other’s eyes, “a source reportedly dished of the pair, who were seen sharing a (romantic) meal at Taverna restaurant. “She was way into him. They even shared a kiss.”

Two days later, the two were seen together again, having lunch together and acting all lovey-dovey, before they finally said goodbye and parted ways at the Austin airport.

But wait, the farewell was only short-lived. Within days, John and Minka had reunited in Los Angeles, where they were photographed at Gergio Baldy Restaurant in the Palisades and the Sofitel Hotel in Beverly Hills. Later the evening, the new lovebirds also joined friends for a late night cap at the Whiskey Bar inside the Sunset Towers Hotel off the Sunset Strip. We don’t know who’s luckier, John or Minka.
