When KATE HUDSON first hooked up with DAX SHEPHERD, she figured it would be nothing more than a summer romance. But she was wrong. With summer nearing its end, the couple’s relationship has not only stood the test of sunny skies and fluffy clouds, he has reportedly moved in with her!

Kate first met comedian Dax – probably best known for featuring in MTV’s Punk’d – in June this year, after being introduced by mother GOLDIE HAWN’s long-term love KURT RUSSEL. At the time, Kurt was reportedly worried about Kate after her divorce from Chris and her failed relationship with OWEN WILSON, and probably though would be the best medicine.

“Kurt took a liking to Dax because he’s a good ol’boy from Midwest who Kurt thinks is trustworthy and reliable,” revealed an insider. “Kurt promised Kate it would get better, that happiness was around the corner. It looks like he was right.”

Well, she has been spotted out and about with Dax on more than one occasion, and the two obviously aren’t trying to hide their romance either, openly hugging, cuddling and kissing for the cameras

In fact, the new lovebirds were spotted with Ryder hanging out at a Boston Starbuck before doing a spot of window shopping, Dax’s arm protectively around Kate, and the two of them seemingly oblivious to the paparazzi. Not so with Ryder, who was only too aware he was being photographed, and decided to have some fun by pretending to hide in his stroller.

The couple later shared a quick kiss as they strolled along the windy streets of Boston, and when they were stopped by some cars at a traffic light, Dax put his head down and Kate reached for another kiss. A short while later, Dax was spotted…yep, kissing Kate on the head several times before they headed back tot their hotel. Okay, we’re starting to get the idea.

But not everyone agrees that these two are headed for couplesville. The 28-year-old actress’ rep, Brad Cafarelli, has other ideas, specifically, that the reports are untrue. Brad has reportedly spoken up to deny the rumors, saying “none of what you’re speculating here is accurate.” Really? Well, we’ll just wait and see, won’t we?
